Can Anyone Identify This Auto Dash Clock For Me
Can Anyone Identify This Auto Dash Clock For Me. It has 49 on the back so I can be sure that it is from the 1949 model year. Your expert knowledge is greatly appreciated. I would like to get it to the correct owner who has a need for it. You can contact me at [email protected] Thank you,

Re: Can Anyone Identify This Auto Dash Clock For Me
It's not from a 49 or 50 Ford because the winder stem comes out the bottom not the front like the one pictured.

Re: Can Anyone Identify This Auto Dash Clock For Me
It appears it maybe an electric clock as it has a lug in the center portion on the back. That may explain the difference in the "winder" location. Just guessing though. That's the way it is on '55 Ford clocks.

Re: Can Anyone Identify This Auto Dash Clock For Me
Just my impression from memory, but it looks to me like late '50s and '60s Chrylser/DeSoto because of the visor bezel and face design.

Re: Can Anyone Identify This Auto Dash Clock For Me
I know ford had a wind up clock and an elect clock in 1949. One time I had both cars with them. I think the wind up had the stem on the lower face. But it's been a long time ago. Bill

Re: Can Anyone Identify This Auto Dash Clock For Me
It is not a 49 or 50 windup or electric. This is a 49-50 clock.

Re: Can Anyone Identify This Auto Dash Clock For Me
You're a legend Toby. It certainly doesn't belong to 49-50 Ford.

Re: Can Anyone Identify This Auto Dash Clock For Me
Did anyone check the link I posted in #8 ? Looks like 1950 Studebaker may be it, most Ford & GM clocks do not have full numerals all around except some Pontiacs.
