37 Ford frame to 40-48 Ford body
Will a 1937 Ford car frame fit a 1940 to 1948 Ford car body? Are there any modifications needed to make the fit work? Thanks-George Watson |

No. The later frame is longer, boxed and has different kick ups and is built to take the extra weight. |

Re: 37 Ford frame to 40-48 Ford body
35-40 and 41 p-up are pretty much the same save for outside-the-framerail body attach points. 41-48 car and 42-48 truck are very different although the 40-47 p-up cab is very similar in appearance, same basic size - 40-41 had the gas tank out back, 42-47 had them under the seat. |
