Default Merc Fender Skirts

I'd inquired here a while back about fender skirts for the 52 Merc. They turned out to be the aftermarket accessory type. Not a great fit but the price was right. Not sure I'll leave them on all the time but tried them out on the first drive of spring, 2019 today. Also a good test of the 53 radiator I installed this winter. It did not show any leaks and ran cool. Of course our daytime high was only about 32 degrees. Some video of the day's drive here. Turn up the sound to hear that straight pipe flathead.

Getting some snow here south of you. Up to a ft or more. So far the hype only has given us a 1/2 inch. Maybe tomorrow. Enjoy that weather and car!
