Good point made by the video: Original old cars in nice condition are more marketable than modded cars in equivalent condition. People often believe that their tastes in customization are universally accepted by everyone else.
Still, I think the prospective buyer mentioned in the video could've sized up the car's originality BEFORE flying out to see it in person. |

Depends on the mods. My '54 Ranch Wagon with a 302/AOD combo, Maverick 8" rear, a knee knocker a/c unit, and front discs is a much better driver than the old 239 Y block and 3 speed stick with no other mods. It looks original to all but true purists. And to them so be it but IMO its worth more than a completely original stocker but as I said that's JMO. Yours may vary.

Or perform the modifications in such a way that it is easily reversible and have saved the take-off parts. Not meant to wedge anyone's panties, just something to point out.
