Default 41 ford floor

I am in the process of changing the modified toe board on my 41 back to a stock one. It will fit on the passenger side but the drivers side is out by an inch. I thought about moving the crossmember underneath the floor and cutting the floor back or modify the toe board. The floor looks to be stock original. We're the floors out of measurement from new. Thanks
