condensor
I cant wait for the new trial condenser to arrive, went out for smoko today in the 34( about 50 k round trip,) hot day at 39C, stopped to air up the tyres a the servo, and drove a short distance to the cafe, it played up like a trained seal, finally could not even back into the parking spot, had to push it in.
After coffee and cream scones, went and had a look ,what do you know a crook condenser,an easy fix ,like a dummy I had an original ford one in there. Got a few offers to buy the 34 as I worked on it outside the cafe, Had a nice drive back home after the fix . Lawrie |

Re: condensor
Oh, the old original Ford condenser trick eh Lawrie. Thought you would have replaced it with a new Mallory one by now. Regards, Kevin.

Re: condensor
My original 35 Ford condenser (18-12300-b) shot craps as well. Seems all the early Ford parts suppliers over here are out of stock or discontinued. So what is this "new trial condenser" you refer to? Looking for a solution while I hunt for a used original.

Re: condensor
Lawrie,
I sent you the "Customs Number" (which is all I had). You should have gotten it by now (according to what they told me at the Post Office). Hopefully, it will show up soon. If it's not there in a couple of days, let me know and I'll see if I can track it down from this end. Denny |

Re: condensor
No drama Denny, our post system is chocked at the moment.
Kevin, I had one of the malory ones fail on the 33 the other month. Was on my way to Ayers rock and never got out of my street. Bulshark, read the post above. Lawrie |

Just read the first couple of posts and ignore the BS from some "Negative Nancy's" on here. "Lawrie" and I came to an agreement. I sent him the sample on the 20th of November. The post office here told me 8 to 10 days delivery; hopefully he should get it soon. |

Re: condensor
Very happy with the magneto condenser from Bubba. It works fine on the distributor.

Re: condensor
And I'm very happy for you, but you have to agree that they don't look nearly as nice on an old Mallory "flattop" as one of my units. What you have to understand is that I am developing a product for a particular market and just thought there might be an application for my technology over here. I am receiving enough positive feedback that I will be continuing with my endeavor.
