very rare body style
I was going thru my files and I came across this picture of the very rare Model A body style, the Push Me-Pull You. It was (is?) the property of the Butman Ford dealership in Ypsilanti, MI. I remember seeing it when I was in college in Ypsi in the early '60s; I believe it was only driven in parades and the picture is from a parade in 1987.

Re: very rare body style
Butman Ford still owns this. At least they about five years ago when I helped them fix the distributor and get it running again. Here is a picture of it in the service area. They are a great dealership and host a nice car show, which will be coming up soon.

Re: very rare body style
This was a common modification for parade use by Shriner's fraternal orders around the country. A local group had a push me-pull you vehicle formed from a couple of 1936 Chevrolets. As usual, the vehicles were occupied by members of the Al Kader clan dressed in their usual costumery designed to look like Muslims.

Those are for folks that have a hard time deciding which way to go.

These are for people who don’t know if they are coming or going?

Re: very rare body style
I'm sure we have all had the minor marital dispute when it comes to navigating. Ours usually comes with an instruction blurted out like "Turn left right here!"
Can you imagine the problems driving this??

Re: very rare body style
I would be more impressed if they had the two back halves mated together.

Re: very rare body style
Somebody years ago drove one of those across the country protesting some crazy thing about the government going backwards as they go forward. They had signs all over that thing.
