I am trying to post some pictures but they keep coming up sideways. How can I fix them?

The problem is almost certainly that the pics were taken with a cellphone and the cell was held in the wrong orientation. Assuming I am correct, was it an iPhone? The correct way to hold an iPhone for pics is horizontally, with the home button on the right.

If they are existing pictures, you'll need to rotate them using a photo manipulating app. If you need help doing that, PM me for my email address and send me your pics and I'll shoot 'em right back.

FWiW, not all phone cameras embed orientation data in the pics...

If it's not an iPhone, suggest doing a search on your phone brand and model number with "pictures sideways."

Correctly? Portrait or landscape?

Very disappointing. I was hoping that this thread would feature pictures of Model A's doing some fast cornering in dirt or mud!

Thanks, They were taken with an i phone so I will try holding it sideways. I will also email them to myself and try again. I am going to post those to the slant w/shield header post. If they come out sideways again maybe Gary can fix them.

If you also use an Apple (Mac) at home, just download them to iPhotos on your home computer. No need to email them to yourself. Mine are always in the proper orientation (landscape or portrait) depending on which way I take them. You can also manipulate them in many ways if desired. You can then post to this forum direct from your iPhotos or upload them to a on line photo album and post from there.

These are from my iphone, all appeared right side up when uploaded in the manage attachments. When I previewed the post only the close up of the header bracket appeared correct. The others were sideways. The ones I posted on the slant windshield header thread were from my computor after emailing them to myself and downloading them. They came out sideways also.

That is one gorgeous and beautiful '31 Coupe !

Now I need to figure out how to get that beautiful car into my garage -even with that Texas grasshopper on the radiator !

BUT WAIT ! Hold everything ! I just notice that they built it with the steering wheel on the WRONG side of the car !

The original photos (four - all angles) had the car as a standard left hand drive. But the miracle of "Photo Shop", editing, etc. can make just about anything into just about anything. It is nice to being able to adjust to the market. One photo of the car for the American market, and another 'tweaked' photo for the Australian market.
