Default Need '49 Mercury carb spec

Anyone out there got a '49 Mercury shop manual and is willing to look up a spec for me? I need the carburetor float setting for the Holley 885FFC carb. Appreciate any help someone can give.

I looked in my 49-51 Merc Manuals and they don't give a specific measurement. All they do is tell you to use the special tool "Fuel Level gauge 9550-B".

I have a Holley manual and it says the float setting for '49 to '51 Mercury with the Holley 885FFC carb is 7/32" from the bowl gasket surface to the top of the float at the toe of the float.
