No, the windshield is not as tall on the Delux.

It seems as though a deluxe top will fit a standard though..

Do you mean the top material,the covering,or the complete assembly,bows,irons,etc?If you mean complete assembly you can use either one on the cars.You have to use the windshield and stanchions to match the top you are using.The bodies are the same.If you mean just the covering it won't go.If I remember right the deck is about 4 inches shorter on the DeLuxe.About 35 years ago we rassled around with a new one from LeBaron Bonny.I live near there so we took it back.Lee Atherton was still alive then and took one look at it,no wonder it won't fit.I gave you a DeLuxe deck panel.It was too short from front to rear.
