Default Time for some light hearted humor

Well today I got back to work after taking a week off last week to set up at the antique tractor/steam/ gas engine meet for my 37th year. Last week I couldn't get back in the groove to drag my butt out to the shop so I goofed around for the most part while my clients waited patiently for the stuff I had promised them. Problem was all of the guys in my setup anywhere near my age had been retired for years and I had been feeling glum about all the work load I would be coming home to. Ok, so finally back at it today, I built a couple of wall cap assemblies for our local grocery store. Sheet rock walls with their corners DO NOT stand up to shopping carts and over the years I have transformed our supermarket with checkstands, displays, etc made from salvaged wood that is already beat up so the dents don't show. I have also found that with their long hours, like 7 am to 8 pm, I have a hard time finding decent hours to work there with my compressor, extension cords ... All trippers for the customers. Sooo for these old barnboard wall protecters I built them as a 3 sided assemblies with the barnboard planed to 1/4" and laminated to plywood, complete with the chair rail cap and baseboard already on. I went down after dinnber to shut off the compressor and they looked like a pulpit in a church. I just needed something to lift some planks I had at an angle so it would look like a pulpit. Something for 'lifters'. Once I found something I asked my wife if she would take a few pictures.......

I'm all FOR the green bible, and the Dog-eared gray book is James Wagner's 'Ford Trucks since 1905'. Also known as FTS05 to his followers.
