Default Thanks Joop and Purdy

I have been working on getting a Western Auto Branded Simmons side bowl carb running. Both Joop and Purdy have been invaluable in getting this thing back to life.

Thanks guys you are the kind of folks that make the barn a great place to hang out.

Glad that I could help.

I got some Simmons parts from the late Dave Cella and when Marcy told me that he always loved to pay forward I saw my chance to do so with Will (TinCup).

Two very fine gentlemen that can always be depended upon to provide expert advice based on experience. They have both helped me also. They are a tremendous asset to the site !

Has Purdy come back to the forum yet? I sure hope he has not left for good, as so many other very good and helpful Model A friends have. We have lost a number of experts here the past several years.....very sad for the hobby.

Been a couple of months now that Purdy "left". I miss his wisdom...
