Default Elect. wipers for 32bb

I just purchased a 6 volt wiper motor from early Ford. I was going to wire it to the ignition switch but would that interfere with the ignition performance? Don't want to go straight to the battery. Everything is new stock and the wiper motor can go either way. Pos. or neg. ground. Thanks.

It is ok to wire into the Ign. switch with the appropriate in line fuse.
