Our hearts go out to the hurt here in Boston, our great tradition and way of life is being tested; good will always prevail

The world should mourn this atrocious and cowardly act. My thoughts and prayers are with all the families concerned.
Capital punishment is indeed appropriate for these heartless cowards !

The perps will be found. In cases like this, it's just a damned shame we don't hang murderers any more.

So very sad to see our innocent people losing life & seeing our families suffering with such nonsense losses at such a very peaceful scheduled event.

If one peruses Mao's book on Guerilla Warfare used also by Ho-Chi-Minh, one can begin realize that the newly planted "cells" were already here before our U. S. 911 incident & that these cells are even among us today in increasing numbers with our wide open borders.

In my opinion, this is not a time to find fault -- but a time to come together -- this is not an easy task to resolve at this point for any of our regulating agencies -- X-rays & shake-downs before flights appear to be here for keeps -- they are here.

Our troops here & abroad also need support.

My Nephew, Doug, ran there! He ran 3 hours & 11 minutes, finished about 50 minutes before the blasts, don't know where he was at that time. Waiting for more details. Bill W.

I'm wondering if when Obama actually declares this event an act of "terrorism", if it would then be considered a federal crime? Does the federal gov have the power for capitol punishment, even tho it happened in a state that doesn't allow it?

I think it will depend on whether the murderers are home-grown or foreign. Apparently they have one person in custody. We'll know in the next few days how this plays out.

In watching this bombing event on films tonight, many will observe many different things & have different comments.

Some can imagine themselves in a similar situation, recognizing & witnessing a harmful explosion & trying to hurry to get out of this area as fast as possible in case of another subsequent explosion.

Only some in viewing these films, will recognize & praise the immense bravery of those few who did not run.

They thought only of those helpless suffering individuals who were screaming in pain and rushed towards the smoke to help these poor non-ambulatory injured individuals.

What great Americans!

It is my understanding of law that Federal charges can be laid by Washington and capital punishment can indeed be invoked !

Here's a video of several people stealing jackets from a stand near the site of the explosions after the people working there left to help the injured....

To understand the full gravity of the situation here are some VERY GRAPHIC photos that you will not see on TV. Please keep all those involved in your thoughts and prayers....
