Default 9" or 9.5" clutch disc with no springs?

Does anyone know of an available clutch disc without any springs?
I made the mistake of machining a bit too much off the flywheel and even with thinning down the crank bolts its still REALLY close to hitting.

If not, has anyone modified a clutch disc to eliminate the springs?

thanks
Zach

Some of the original Model A's had a 9in. disc 1-3/8 spline with no springs. I don't know if you find one of them now. Maybe ask the boys on the Model A site. Walt

ARP makes flywheel bolts and the head is very thin.
Half the thickness of a stock one

Zach,

I have a 9" disk with a solid hub. Came with a big pile of parts I acquired long ago. The guy put V8 flatheads in 8N/9N tractors so I always assumed it was from a tractor? Here's a couple pics:

It's been used, but the lining appears to be usable. It's yours for the price of shipping if you'd like to give it a try.

NOS ones show up from time to time on ebay, usually going unsold. A 9" spring-less clutch disc was originally on all but late '32 Model Bs. The part number is B-7550, but it is a carryover Model A ('29-'31) part.
