Default Flathead oil pressure change

So over winter I redid my gauges powder coat, clean up,new bezels, paint and switch out various gauges for better looking, checked full sweep, all good! Now My oil pressure has dropped tremendous from 30lbs to about 15lbs in 10 mile drive! Do I have a gauge problem, oil sender problem or motor problem,I was thinking going to auto parts store for a mechanical gauge and mount it under the hood for my 10 mile ride to see what I get .what pipe thread is that? Am I going the right direction?
