Hi All

I have a turn signal issue that I wonder if anyone else has experienced and can help with please?

Parts installed as follows:

12volt negative earth system

Universal Flasher Switch

The in bumper lamps from Bert's (12v bulbs fitted)

An electronic flasher unit with pins 49. 49A, 31, C

The issue I have is that the side to side and hazard functions work but the tell tales in the switch don’t illuminate and the flashers flash too fast.

I’ve looked at earths and this looks OK, just wondered if you’ve come across this before please?

Look down below for a previous thread regarding the T/S indicator lights not working - Usual culpret is poor ground.

Rapid flashing may be resolved with a different flasher.

it can be difficult to get a proper ground for the tiny tell tales in the flasher unit to work.

Next, I have not had good luck with any electronic flashers (china) and always end up with the 6 ohm resistors (one on each side of the car) to create a load sufficient for an old school thermal flasher to operate.

We run into this all the time when we install the LED tail lights in the teacups.

If there is someone out there who has found an electronic unit that works I am sure we will hear about it

Check to see if there are even a bulb in the unit.

The switch is designed for the 3 wire flasher. How do you have the 4 terminal flasher wired in the circuit?

Like DollarBill says the indicator need a good ground to work.
