Default Alternator mount on driver's head

I have a 51 F1 with the 8BA, I located a head mounted alternator bracket (discontinued) that Speedway used to sell. I was hoping to use this to modify to mount a power steering pump on it. The part number is 916-67915. The instructions don't show where this actually mounts. If anyone has a photo or diagram of how and where this is mounted I would appreciate it.

Personally I would not wish to have it mounted on my head ( too much strain on the neck muscles )
If the bracket mounts on the head it most likely uses head bolts to attach.
This generally requires longer head bolts/studs and possibly head to bracket spacers.
If it does indeed use the head bolts it should be pretty obvious which ones are used.
It may also use one or more of the water pump bolts.

Don't know on the alternator bracket, but would assume it would be similar to the generator bracket. It requires longer head studs and with a finned head it requires spacers (some of the brackets have them built in). Looks like there is one that mounts lower on the head.

It should be obvious why the bracket shown in the first photo can't be used on an 8BA.

Yep, water outlet would get interesting! But, the way it bolts up should be similar.

That is the bracket that I have and I do have those instructions with the kit. That is why I am asking for a photo or diagram that actually shows it mounted.

It will be the three bolts in the lower front corner of the head I believe. Hold it up to the head, you should be able to see which bolts line up with the bracket.

OK, I got this part of the project started. The mount on the head is on, the pump is attached and lined up very close. I still need to get a wider pulley for the pump. so I will make the final adjustments once that is done. I didn't mount the top bar as I will wait until I am at the point of installing the alternator.
