Default The Model A/AA Front license (plate) clip...

Within the October 20, 1930 Parts Price List is A-13145 Front License (plate) Clip.

These are the "clips" which hold the license plate to the Head lamp support.

Directly behind that it says "Same as L-8597-D".

Fom where did Ford pull this part from? Was it some thing that was related to the Lincoln since it, the Lincoln, was frequently refferenced in the Ford Service Letters?

Thanks.

Pluck

Founded in 1917 by Henry M. Leland, Lincoln has been a subsidiary of Ford since 1922.

The L prefix indicates a Lincoln part number. The Model used T numbers also. Several prints indicate that they are the same...
