Early 1929 Rear Fender Brackets...
The Standards say that it was in April of 1929 when the Rear Fender Brackets went from a forging to a stamped steel bracket.
OK... I have a February/March 1929 Tudor and the brackets on it are of the stamped steel type. (Who knows...they could have been changed out at some time in the past 80 plus years or so). My question is then for those of you who have early 1929 (January-March) UNRESTORED Model A's...Just what type of brackets do you have on your car? Forged or stamped steel? This Tudor is a Seattle assembled vehicle. Also has stamped front and forged back running board brackets. Thank you. Pluck Last edited by Steve Plucker; 07-04-2013 at 09:33 AM. |

March engine number on the delivery with an April firewall date. Stamped runningboard mounts and forged fender braces. Rod
