Default firewall insulation

I am thinking about the firewall insulation pad for my late 31 . How does this install, with the fuel pipe already going through the firewall. Thanks in advance. Richard

My friend and I installed one in his late 31. He didn't want to remove the tank, so we cout a hole for the fuel pipenand a slit to the top and tucked it into place.
