Since no one is responding, just my general opinion.

Most of the major manufacturers gas shocks just work. For me, Bilstein has always been my favorite. Monroe makes good shocks in the premium lines. They all get the job done, most will probably have a listing for your model and year. Just avoid the bottom of the line loss leaders.

They will probably work with any stock springs, factory or even larger anti sway bars, and average road conditions

You get into cut or special springs, start auto crossing or drag racing, then it changes. Or if you want to get into adjustable shocks. Much more specialized then.

Yeah, that is a difficult question as to what you want to do to the car and what you are expecting.

Most service replacement parts now are junk and it is difficult to give a suggestion.
