Default 24 touring seat wood

Am about to manufacture new tack strips for the rear seat. Have some partial and well worn original wood for templates. Is the the top, cross-piece flat and straight, or does it have a slight outward curve? The same portion of the front seat appears to be slightly curved. (or, do these seat parts simply acquire a curve with age and use?) Thank you in advance!

The wood kit is pretty cheap from the part vendors. I think the center top seat back part is straight.
