Default Choke and Throttle cables

After many phone calls, and emails I have about given up on finding these cables for my 6 cyl. Ford. According to , the "green bible" these are the same from 1942 thru 1948, with the throttle cable 53", and the choke 43". I have a set of reproduction cables for the V8 cars which are just about 12 to 16 inches short.

How have others solved this problem with restoration of a 6 cyl. car or truck?. All advice welcome on how to do this. Please call me at 541-990-7377, or email me with a private message.

Many thanks, Paul Ingram
