Dumped the sealed beams
I have been collecting pieces to get rid if the sealed beam conversion on my
68-C. Just finishe it and it looks soooooo much btr!!!!!!!! |

My coupe came with sealed beams - so ugly - took me a year before I brought it back to original and yes it also looks so much better

It took me a year to find all the parts to put my original 1950's Sealed Beams BACK in my 1931 Coupe. It looks sooo much better, and illuminates so much better too !

If the car is just a driver and you like the stock look, you can get adapters that go inside the stock buckets.

Yes the adapters do allow the continued use of sealed beams behind an original lense but now both lens's fluting is not functional as intended. I think use either one but not both.

I have used sealed beams in model A's before. they are hard on the generator but will work. An alternator is best for brighter sealed beams on the model A.
