Re: Bought a early 28aa today
Nice looking truck !! See if you can get it running and have some fun with it
You can allways swap chassis later on and you'll get more for a running frame anyway!! |

Either oil the sheet metal or put a coat of wax on it. Once you get it on the road you will be amazed at the attention it will get.

"CORRECT!" Patina is the dirty spot on your fender that you touch while you're squeezin' around your car and the nasty spot where you hold on to your door, it's commonly called crud & you're too lazy to wipe it off!! Gregg asked me why I didn't clean hand marks from my house door facings. I replied,"PATINA!" bILL w. DKHTT

Re: Bought a early 28aa today
Man if you were closer to you I would buy the chassis and drive train from you. I know a guy with a 28-29 cab and I would put it back on the road.

Re: Bought a early 28aa today
Well the truck is home, number on the motor is 2768073 started with just 1 A, does have the worm drive rear end. Motor cranks over by hand. That number is on the title also but from what i understand is that if they did a motor change years a go they could go to the court house and have the number changed. Has the left hand park brake pretty sure the chassis will be for sale.

Re: Bought a early 28aa today
I think you'll have some trouble fitting a 28 body on a 31 frame.
