That and if I remember correctly the Liberty engine is oiled internally up top. It has been awhile since I read up on them though.

Just as a side note, Ford and Chris Smith (Chris-Craft) were good friends. The steering gear on a lot of Chris-Crafts were Model A boxes and highly desirable for car restorations as they had little if any wear.
