Interesting Location of Manufacturer "BRIGGS'" Logo Location on Rear Bustle

While working on the rear bustle of my SW Blind back i noticed this Briggs Manufacturer stamp. I have not see this in this location before.....Anyone checked this area.


I also have it here on the DASH RAIL

Mark, curiously, does your SW blindback have "D" nuts on the dash rail, or "caged" nuts? Vern

My cabriolet has those markings in a number of places.

The center of the behind the dash bar.
Left front lower part of the cowl.
The inner door metal.
I think on the inside area of the door post.

Seems if you look a lot you will find more of them.

Actually not Kevin This car which was made by Briggs and Murry has no distinctive marks on it at all to determine the manufacturer, and with such a small amount made it is something to look for on the 160C
