Question Brake Drum Question 1928 Tudor

I miked the thickness on my brake drums and got the following readings from .085 thous. to .110. Acording to Les Andrews book anything less than .120 is unacceptable. I was thinking about using the reinforcement bands on all four drums. Would this solve my problem? I have several ,extra, used drums but none will clean up at .120.
Thanks
