Model B valve cover gasket
I'm curious, how many of you use the gasket the way it comes and how many cut out the lower portion? I've always cut them out but now I'm having second thoughts.

Cut out....'lower portion' Do you have a picture/illustration of what you are saying ? I cannot vision cutting any portion of a stock B oil gallery gasket.....except to punch out holes for oil pressure guage and/or punch out holes for lines when installing a full flow oil filter. The function of this gasket , in lower area, is too contain oil pressure to various areas..no ? |

I might leave the gasket divider - but only because that is the way they are made. Joe K
