Default 29 pickup

I'm about 8 years young when it comes to the older cars and I'm currently working on the interior for the 29 pickup my friend has. Not sure where the clips for the back seat belong as they were non existent and the seat was just sitting there. I have 1/2 dozen or so clips I fabbed myself like others I had seen, but was just wondering on the correct placement and quantity of them if anyone has any info on it, Thanks. Looking forward to talking to you all. I'll upload a few pics tomorrow

Someone must have pictures of the clips for the seat of a 1929 pickup.

Our truck has 2 clips to support the bottom the back rest, and 2 clips to hold the top of the back rest in place. The back rest seat frame hooks over the TOP of the upper two clips, as shown. The bottom two pointy clips are screwed to the wood uprights. The top two clips bolt to the cab frame as shown, one bolt in from the ends.

The 82-A closed cab seat back was installed to not be removed without first loosing the upper clips. The RGJS page E-62 has a picture showing the upper clip installation (there were two of them). The 1" square nut fits against the cab back and prevents the nut from turning when the bolt is tightened/loosened. The attached picture is a duplicate of the RGJS picture.

FYI - The clips shown above are installed upside-down.

Thanks for that bit of info, I had been looking at the back rest on our '31 CCPU because it is almost straight up and down and I'd like to move the bottom of it a bit forward for comfort reasons.

My friend's 31 widebed is the same way. I think something is wrong, because I can't believe it should be so vertical and uncomfortable.
