When conversing on ANY subject, had a Friend who would make up PHONY statistics & make them sound BELIEVABLE!
If you didn't know WHEN you were born, how OLD would you be?

I was born when I was still quite young, 1940 IIRC.
Got my first A when I was 16, or was it 17? I disremember.

As I said earlier mine is 1944. My Father who wanted the car to restore was born in 1920. He is now 97 and still likes to go for a ride in the A. His first A was a '29 Cabriolet back in High School.
Looks like now you need another decade for your chart!

It's surprising, but also really refreshing and encouraging to see a lot of younger folks in this hobby. I thought everyone was my age (67) or older. We need young blood, because otherwise who's going to be the caretakers for these wonderful old cars when we're gone? (Unless you plan to be around forever, which ain't likely).
