Nice looking truck you are making great progress. When I saw you called it new I was hoping you went as new as I did. The roadster pickup is all reproduction parts with an automatic transmission. I did use an original engine because Terry Burtz hasn't finished the new Model A engine.

Just new to me, mostly old parts that had been rejected by others.

Just for the record. This truck is now running the Model A 4 cylinder engine. I sold the 239 V8. I did make a intake for the 4 cylinder and it is using a 239 Ford V8 carb. Runs very strong. It also has 7-1 BF head, big intake valves, counter balanced crank. Also it is running a F150 4 speed transmission with overdrive now.

I sold the V8. It is being used in a 1930 coupe.

It looks solid, mainly surface rust. Some wax and spit shine it up. Keep us posted, have fun! May I suggest starting your own thread, good luck!

You have a good start. It is just like eating a elephant one bit at a time. Have fun, it is real rewarding when done.

Try to post the photos here on the Barn when you start your own thread, that way they are preserved forever. Outside accounts come and go and threads here without photos are of lesser value...my .02, your mileage might vary....
