I think many voters have their own definitions of Restored, Original, and Modified that differ from the definitions given in the first post.

If voters went by the definitions given, I think we'd see far fewer "Original" and far more "Modified".

How many unrestored and stock Model A's have you ever seen?



Restored:
For show, and/or driving. Stock. New or older restoration. No 'significant' modifications.

Original:
Unrestored and stock. Could have original type replacement parts for maintenance and repairs.

Modified:
Changes to wheels, brakes, upholstery, major performance equipment, etc.

It's original only once.
Something can be restored like original, but not to original.

I like them all and I appreciate good work done by the owner. The really ratty rods look unsafe to me and do not show a lot of quality work. There is certainly enough Model A Fords to go around and they all do not have to be restored.

I call my A refurbished, it is neither restored, original or modified.

It's just a Model A that has been well used, retired for many years and then fixed up and put back on the road.
