Most folks don't realize how TCP and ZDDP additives perform their intended purpose. These pressure additives are acidic in nature so that they can eat into the surfaces and deposit microscopic amounts of metallic oxides in order to gain more anti scuff capability. If you just keep adding this stuff in there, it will eventually do more harm than good.
