The instruction sheet was in the envelope that hung from choke knob. These were the first instructions offered for the "New Ford" by Ford Canada.

Re: Rare Model A related parts...
Yes, that is true but if I recall correctly, it does not show a print, --or more to the point, an assembly drawing print or even a print for that specific bushing. It has been awhile since I looked at that page in the S/B but I think it actually lists the bushing number. What I was curious about, was if there is an M-Spec listed for that bushing on the print(s) to see exactly what the composition was. Again, I have not thought about this in awhile but I am thinking Ford was beginning to use greaseless bushings in quite a few areas of the car (brake distributors, etc.) and I was just curious as to knowing if the bushing material was the same.

Re: Rare Model A related parts...
It is kind of hard to find an original Ford Bakelite 'Mushroom' gear shift knob for the early '28 Model A. I had one on my Dec.'27 Tudor, and I still have one now in my collection of unique 'A' stuff.

Re: Rare Model A related parts...
A set of K-D Model No. 22 Side lamps. They screw to the door post on 28/29 closed cars around the center door hinge. Has the vertical lens similar to the fluted 28. Would be better than fender lights because with those, your wife can't sit on the fender.
Also, Simpson's Snappers. Installed on the rim and if the tire gets low, they will snap while driving. I have a set that says they were made for the "new Ford". They were made here in Wichita and even going to the historical museum I can't find any information on the company. Must have been a "fly by night" outfit. |

I don't understand this flywheel housing...
It's set-up for the VE style timing, but uses the 3rd style housing? Also,...it uses the 2nd style inspection shield.. What gives? |
