I joined MAFCA in 1973 and MARC in 1978. I have had a great time with both clubs. Buying a Model A was one of the better decisions of my life.

Bought my first "A", a 1928 CCPU from Bill Sturm in 1964 for $135. No it wasn't restored. He didn't start his upholstery business until he got out of the Navy a few years later. Joined MARC in 1965 and MAFCA in 1968. Have been a member continuously since and have all issues. Makes for interesting reading at times. Don/WI

Member of MAFCA 50 years - joined in 1964. Joined MARC the same year (1964), but dropped them about 1995.
