The EFV-8C/A Cross Country Grand Tour has officially ended as of this morning in Flint, Michigan. We had breakfast together and said our goodbys. We have been traveling together for over a month now and had the greatest of times. Thanks to Arel B., Jerry R., Bill S., and Frank M. for organizing this Grand tour. We will all be heading in our own direction now to New York, Georgia, Virginia, Maryland and elsewhere. Keep on Flathead V-8 ing!!

Great video climbing Kingsbury grade. Love hearing the flatmotor, the whine of the transmission, and looking out over the hood. It doesn't get any better than heading down the road looking out over the hood of an early V-8.

Hey Trev, I posted that '36 Fordor just for you! Remember, I put the tire iron in the back for JM? Bambolina Blue is a very striking color. But a question, any idea why the grill is painted?

I've been on the Ford Barn for a while, but this is my first post. I volunteered to take pictures for the V8 Club at Tahoe. I've provided all of my photos (nearly 700) to the club on disk so they can use them as desired. You can view my photos at the following Smug Mug site.

Hey rdstr36, Wow! I just went over and looked at five or six photos and, well, wow! (I'm back, 2 hours later! Looked at 'em all. You saw a lot of stuff I didn't.)

I really appreciate the way you're sharing.

Thanks very much.

Maybe others have already mentioned this here, but...I just recently received a disk with pictures taken at the 2013 Golden Jubilee Meet, from the EFV8C/A, Golden Gate RG 1. I'm guessing that everyone who registered for this meet will receive one of these.
I would like to thank rdster36 for taking these and RG 1 for sending the disk. Very nice thing to do indeed!!

JM and Frank, you are correct. Everyone who was a registered participant will get a copy of John's photos as a gift from RG#1. We had some money left over and thought it would be a nice gift to everyone who registered and supported the Grand National Meet and the 50th Anniversary. Enjoy! Be sure and show these at your RG meeting so that those who could not attend will get to see what took place.
Those of us who planned and worked the meet had a great time and it was great to see that all enjoyed the meet. We would not have been able to do it without the participation and co-operation of those who supported us.
