Re: Model A commercial vehicles picture thread!!
If I recall correctly, some of our NZ friends recently recreated the scene posted by Pat in Santa Cruz. Perhaps someone will post?

In the meantime, here's another unusual body style. A "Safari Wagon" in Africa.

Thanks, Bick. It was a great idea to recreate that parade.

Re: Model A commercial vehicles picture thread!!
Here are 2 pic's of my Grandfathers 1930 Deluxe Delivery he had for the Family Printing Business. The first one is of my Father at the age of 11 in Jan. 1931 (notice the Tire Chains and the 1931 license plate). The second one is of my aunt and uncle taken in July 1931. I bought one just like it in 1971 and am almost done re-restoring it . It's now done. Here is a new pic

Re: Model A commercial vehicles picture thread!!
As NEW England prepares for another wintry blast, let's head to OLD England...
A classy "Horse Box" (top): Can anyone think of another large commercial buyer, other than the Royal Mail, that purchased their "A's" "as Henry intended"... that is, without bumpers? This would be a GREAT rig to reproduce! Ice cream, anyone? Biscuits, anyone? |

Re: Model A commercial vehicles picture thread!!
Deluxe Delivery Don: Thanks for sharing. You're so lucky to have those images. I trust you'll be replicating the family paint scheme?
