The coupe looks like a Nash w/ unibody. Post WWII, pre 1950, maybe.

Yes early 50s fender with port holes goes with it also. Can you locate the doors?

If the stainless side trims from the Buick are salvageable, people like them for the sides of Mercury customs.
Unless you think the Buick is salvageable as a whole.
The trans pictured looks like a Ford truck unit, not worth much, unless the bellhousing is removeable, if it is the bell or "hogshead" as it's known is uiseful to people for adapting other gearboxes to flatheads.

The body looks amazingly sound! I wonder how many years it sat there?

Great spot to park a truck long term -- long dry summers, and not too much rain in the winter. Banning is named after Phineas Banning, who founded the Port of Los Angeles during the Civil War era. It sits at about 2300 ft, so it's a little cooler than the surrounding Riverside area, that's basically a reclaimed desert. I'm sure Jeremy has a fascinating story about the history of his grandfather's ranch, and I don't blame him if he doesn't want to share it here, for obvious reasons! Reminds me of visiting Scorpion Bay on Santa Cruz Island off the California coast back when it was still a working ranch in the late 1970's -- a real step back in time to the 19th century. Vail and Vickers had a working cattle ranch on neighboring Santa Rosa Island until just recently. And there are still a few of these old ranches sprinkled around Southern California -- it's not all freeways and traffic.

That old truck really deserves to be saved and at least restored as a driver! the other cab looks like 35-37 maybe?

That looks like an old Sharps rifle to me, Jeremy. What an amazing piece of history you've got there. Check out the NADA price guide if you're looking for a pricing idea on your '39 pickup:

http://www.nadaguides.com/Classic-Ca...-Pickup/Values

Of course, your truck would fall at the bottom end of that scale, or below. If you hauled it out and got it running though, you might run that price up a bit. But the cost of doing that would probably wipe out what you'd gain, particularly if you aren't doing the work yourself. I know what you mean about international sales -- I personally don't want the hassle that goes along with it. There are still plenty of people in the US that will pay you a fair price without that hassle. As far as the Chevy or GMC cab you have, I'd guess that unless you have the hood and fenders, you'd have to find someone who has a complete truck with a rusted-out cab in order to get the most out of it.

Wish you luck with your sales, but will be sorry to see that stuff disappear from the California landscape!
