Nice work, but bad taste.

Did anyone notice that the moto meter is on backwards? It looks like a nice car, I just don't care for those colors.

YOU did! I'm not gonna go back and look.
My eyeballs are still throbbing from the first look.

What is a shame is that it looks like someone took a lot of time on this and did a very nice job in my opinion. Its just to bad that all that time was not put in to a little more research and a more appropriate color for an A. But someone will step up and buy it.

With that color combo would you call the car "mint"?

What's the deal of so low of miles after the restore? I see that so often.
Is it a shine-store and doesn't drive well?
Does the front bumper look crooked? Sad to see so much work went this way.
Just my quick observations.

This is what the seller has to say,

Hi,

The car was built as a show car by previous owner so he took the wipers off for looks but they can easily be added on. I'm not sure about shocks cause I have another 30 Model A and doesn't have any shocks either.

$21.3K and 9 hours left.

And reserve not met...

Pity. People just don't know true value when they see it.

At first glance I thought it was a Barner's car. Pretty close color scheme. Can't remember who that is.....

Talking Re: "Restored show car WOW"

While I am normally a fan of stock colors, I find myself strangely drawn to this one.

Maybe it's the DeSoto reference that Peter mentioned or it could be that my 180A's is close to this roadsters main body color.

I personally don't care for the color, but on the upside, it is probably visible from low earth orbit .

Something wrong with the cowl lights, the arms don't go over the cowl band.

The colour combo could be considered almost Australian. We had a 30 roadster combo of,
Body - Imperial Green
Mouldings - Ivanhoe Green
Wheels - Ivanhoe Green
Guards - Imperial Green
Line - Cream
Not the same, but not a black wheel and fender combo either.

I wonder why they drilled the large hole in the bottom of the flywheel cover?

Note the "rare" Standard Roadster/Phaeton Rear View Mirror. When I was trying to find an original mirror for my Standard Phaeton it certainly seemed to be quite rare.

I've often wondered the same. People highlight the post restoration low milage as an asset when I'd think anything under a thousand or so means I'going to be finding bugs you missed.
