10% at Lowes also for ex military. My kids razz me but I carry a copy of my DD214 in my wallet. It has worked in many places but not Model A suppliers.

The Model A suppliers couldn't survive if they offered a senior discount, what with the advanced age of so many of the devotees.

if you want a really good senior discount ,go to any ranger station or National Park and buy a "Golden Age Passport" You have to be 62 and it costs $10
Its a lifetime FREE pass to any National Park or many federal projects such as the TVA ,Corps of Engeneers lake etc
we used it at Crater Lake coming home from the National Modle A meet in Portland
just hand them the card instead of money, they hand it back with all the brochures, and say "thank you, have a nice visit"

I have a business and we give a senior "matinee" discount to try to fill the afternoon appointments. And I will take a discount it's offered. Still, I don't quite get the logic. Many, many seniors are on fixed incomes with high health expenses. On the other hand, many are in good health and have paid off their mortgages and have income and SS coming in. There are plenty of young folks with families and entry level incomes that could also use a break. The best line I ever heard was when asking how old you had to be to get a discount, I was told if I claimed to be old enough to get it, they wouldn't argue the point-I paid full fare.
