Available at napa or your favorite auto parts: Permatex, Non-drying Prussian Blue PN 80038. 3-4 bucks. Never thought I'd ever use it again, but supprisingly enough I have had occasion to use it a few times now.....

Thank you for all the responses. I am going to first try a quick dry black spray paint that I have. I should be able to see the pattern with that. Will have to clean off with lacquer thinner.

TOM ENDY has it right i have rebuilt maney a ford rear & never used blueing the big mistake guys make is runing a tap in the center section to clean the threads there speciel threads designed to prevent leaking as for rtv use it to fix a leaking bath tub. rtv is like the national dept. it never stops growing.
