Why is it that I make a perfectly innocent statement and get ranked on it ? Maybe the boss should know ?

I miss them. I bet insurance, and taxes are a big reason why they have gone away. Zoning due to urban sprawl likely has taken a few. I know that happened to the local racetrack where I live. It's a soccer park now.

Parts for cars are so expensive now too.

Race tracks are having the same problem. If I have the story correct, the Englishtown race track (the drag strip) was shut down because a big housing development went in nearby and there were complaints about the noise.

Still motorcycle events there, but I guess not loud enough
