I'm running an L100 cam because of Ol' Ron's enthusiasm for it.

Reminds me of Walt DuPont...leaving a void.

Prayers for Ron

A real common sense guy with a wonderful sense of humor. I always got a chuckle out of his spelling! I am not sure if he did it just to make us smile. It sure did me!! Guys like Ol'Ron are irreplaceable!

Gosh, it saddens me greatly to hear that Ol' Ron is making his last lap around the flathead track. May God Bless him and his family. Ron is a legend in his own time and will be greatly missed on Fordbarn and by all those who knew him. He helped so many people and willingly shared his knowledge. He made the world a better place. Can't believe so many of the "old time hot rodders" are leaving us. So sad.

Ron and I talked fairly regularly and Molly and I would get down every few months to take him out for lunch. Late last week Ron mistakenly, (twice), dialed my number while trying to get his Sister-in-Law. (His Son and Sister-in-Law live just up the road from Ron). I called her and she told me Ron was losing ground quickly. Tuesday I tried to call Ron. His son, that lives with him, told me that Ron had gone to the hospital.

Ron is another person I met late in life. As we get older there are more people that we didn't know long enough.
Peace be with Ron and his family.
