I didn't know what kind of interior you were going for. I just figured you were trying to make it as authentic as possible. You can still find mohair and broadcloth, it's just not as easy to find and more expensive. Classtique still makes mohair upholstery kits for Model A's. It was a sincere question.

ABS door panel on my '35. Short clips around the top and long clips at the bottom where the door seal increases the thickness.

After cutting the ABS; I attached it with a couple screws to hold it in place and then used a homemade giz to locate the door holes as in the other pictures.

Once clip in place I used another "tool" to mark the panel about 3/16" in from the door edge and sanded panel to that line allow for material wrap. I don't have a picture of it; but it was a piece of sheet metal bent at a 90 with a small hole drilled in one leg. Slid one leg down the door with a scribe to mark the panel in the other.

I used Mopar door pulls in these early handle forward doors; may switch to the stock rope pulls when trimmed; but the work good now.

That's some great info. Thanks for the pics. Every little bit is helpful. Especially when one can be as inattentive as I.
