Sorry to hear of your troubles. I've had the opposite experience. FedEx has been very problematic and UPS has been spot on. I have a FedEx account. Numerous times things are gone to a hub and then vanished off their system. Thankfully, in a few days, the items have been delivered. I only use them since they are the only local hub near me. UPS only has a retail location which adds to the overall shipping cost.

My friend is a Snap-On dealer and only uses UPS since FedEx has caused him fits.

We live in NJ and I wonder if the quality of service may be a regional issue.

Another vote against FedEx. I have had about as many problems with them as I have had successful transactions. I won't use them, but unfortunately, others still haven't learned. On the other hand, I have sold over 400 of my condensers and except a for a handful that were picked up, all went out USPS small Flat Rate Box with zero problems.

I agree with Tub: Out of the three, USPS has been the best in my experience. Their flat rate shipping is a great deal when sending small items and small sized, heavy items.

I mislabeled a package and it got delivered to the wrong address. It never turned up at the buyer's home so I refunded his money. I had given up on ever getting it back and forgot about it. A couple of months later it showed up at my house, returned as "Addressee Unknown". I contacted the purchaser and he still wanted the item and even agreed to a price increase to cover the cost of my goof up. Still some nice understanding people around. Thankfully.
