My understanding is a "double jack" is the drill that some trusting soul is holding for their partner to hit with a big hammer. A "single jack" is smaller and held by the same person using a smaller hammer. Back on early ford topics, most "top irons" are actually steel on Ev8 roadsters and convertible. |

As a young 'back to the land-er' I once lost a nice old wood cookstove off of a flatbed truck. Was just going a mile or so and keeping it under 30, so hadn't secured it very well. That's when I learned the difference between iron and steel! The two wood stoves I have today are made from 1/4" steel plate and angle iron, I mean angle steel.

My southern friend thought I was a heathen after he told me he sold bobbles in the summer and I asked him what a bobble was. And he also said to stop putting a long "e" after the word I when I talked. . and Iee now think he is right. But not about me being a heathen. Terry

It is similar to a bangle and a bead. But the lines are blurred by time and geographical boundaries.

Try assembling a machine with lag bolts and you’ll answer your own question!

It's Baubles, Bangles and beads. It is from a musical. The actual melody was written by classical composer Alexander Borodin of Prince Igor fame. It has been recorded countless times by various artists. I don't know how to link a Youtube recording of the Jobin/Sinatra version but you can find it here,

Wel some of them still steam. Roller gets hot from the hot mix and the water sprayed on them steams.

Lag bolts have a hex head like a bolt.
Machine screws have a screw driver head.
