LED's are polarity sensitive, so you need to specify you're running positive earth when buying. There are some that are not polarity sensitive, but they must be specified.
I'm running LED's in the rear of my 41 (after seeing Merc Cuzers' vid- thank you Sir) and I can attest they are real attention getters. |

Here is the bulb: https://www.ledlight.com/1157-miniat...se-60-smd.aspx Thought I would add a better picture, of the off set pins on the bulb, for clarity. Last edited by Merc Cruzer; 09-19-2021 at 09:35 AM. |

I have always look at pictures as "they are worth a 1000 words" and should be self explanatory, and my original picture wasn't. So it is a better one for the file. |

Well; back to square one. I need single contact tail light/brake light bulbs in my 35 PU, Unfortunately the numbers on the bulbs are illegible. I think the smaller one is a 63 and the larger one a 1073, but I'n mot sure about that. Can anyone give me the correct numbers for the bulbs I need so I can order LEDs. The set up on the 35 is a single contact with locking pins straight across from one another. One is larger for the brake light. One is smaller for the tag light.I unfortunately ordered dual contact bulbs, which are not what I need. I am slowly acquiring an unneeded collection of misc. LED bulbs.
NEVER MIND. I found both bulbs in LED. Larger one, cheap. Smaller one expensive. Go figger.

Just curious, have you tried using jumper wires from the bulbs to a battery, out of the car? I just looked back, and my purchase was 2 yeas ago. I just tried to call them and no answer for sales or support. I will try again tomorrow. I will post the response. If you guys used PAY PAL get a refund through them. It seems some people who buy these bulbs have success and others dont. Is it a quality control issue?

File off the offending lug, re-insert bulb and be on your way. Works every time.
