Hello, I bought that particular dash already grained. But for my other convertible I will be sending my dash to ford barn member "Felix37". His name is Jonathon. He already did a dash for my 37 slant back. He has original templates to match what ford was using back then. I'll post some pictures of his work.

I should have said " I learned something about '37's today "
(That being that the deluxe models had the chrome trim strips on the dash ) I have the '37 book , but somehow missed it .

Getting ready to wood grain my 37 deluxe. The only way I could remove the vertical trim was to grind off the "staked" tab on the back side. Any thoughts what type of adhesive to use to reattach them? Thanks for your time!

Try E-6000 adhesive. It's clear and you can apply a small amount with a toothpick. Can be found at most automotive stores or hardware stores.
